What is CartPilot?

CartPilot is a consumer product launch platform built around a modern web application. We turn great ideas into great products by onboarding products as digitally-native, vertically-integrated brands. Put simply, we minimize friction by working directly with suppliers and customers. Our platform also allows for licensing, distribution and other output channels.

Who uses CartPilot?

Our users include designers, inventors, individuals and companies. We provide an automated supply chain solution that scales to meet our clients' needs. We also provide a feed to promote recently launched products to our followers.

What do I need to get started?

Beyond the product design and source, we require carton specifications (dimensions and gross/net weights) and product-specific details to build a supply chain and virtual storefront for physical (not digital) products. We're happy to help fill in any blanks beyond the design phase of product development, and our services extend to sourcing, freight forwarding, picking, packing, shipping and more.

How long does it take to launch a product?

Our team will review your submission and follow up with a notice of approval (or rejection) within 24-48 hours. Once approved, our team will spend 30 to 60 days onboarding your product. Additional services like licensing and distribution may require a longer timeframe.

Does CartPilot provide crowdfunding?

No, unfortunately we do not provide crowdfunding.

How do I protect my idea?

Our best product submissions are tied to one or more forms of intellectual property (trademark, utility patent, etc.). We highly recommend this, but we are happy to accept (and approve) generic products as well.

What is a digitally-native vertical brand?

Digitally-native vertical brands or "DNVBs" are consumer product brands born and built online. For many DNVBs, offline channels are secondary or non-existent. Building brands online allows product managers to engage in frictionless commerce and effortless transactions. CartPilot launches products as DNVBs first and foremost before engaging additional sales channels.

How do you handle product support and returns?

We have a dedicated team of product support specialists to manage returns and other inquiries. We aim to respond to all inquiries in less than 24 hours and maintain product defect rates below 1%.

What distribution channels does CartPilot offer?

We offer online channels such as Amazon; Groupon; Jet and zulily, brick-and-mortar stores such Bed, Bath and Beyond; Kohl's, Target and Walmart, and placement on HSN; QVC; Good Morning America and The View.

What licensing channels does CartPilot offer?

We offering product licensing with over 500 institutions including the National Football League, Major League Baseball, National Basketball Association, National Hockey League, 200+ colleges and universities, and 150+ fraternities and sororities.
